Our current Cookie policy aims to provide anyone using our website with the information they need to decide whether to allow the cookies Platform4jobs uses to be installed, as well as how to manage them.
With that in mind, we’ve provided a list of basic facts that we think every Internet user should know about (what are cookies, what are they for, how to disable or delete them). We’ve also made it easier to identify our cookies.
Information on the Platform4jobs cookie policy is supplied in two different ways: Firstly, as a temporary notice that appears at the bottom of the web page, advising the user about the installation of cookies requiring consent (describing their purpose) if browsing is continued without altering any browser settings. Secondly, a link to the current policy is provided, so that the user can find out about their content and function in more detail.
Our cookie policy is public and permanently accessible via the active link on the website, labelled ‘Cookies’, which our site users can access to stay informed at all times.
This Cookie policy may be updated at any time, due to regulatory changes or any changes in the settings of the cookies used.
Platform4jobs may use cookies and other similar technologies (henceforth jointly referred to as “Cookies”) to store and retrieve information from their website user’s devices.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files sent to a browser from a web server, which store information in a user’s device when the user enters or browses a website. Cookies allow this information to be accessed after their delivery. In other words, they are pieces of information that a website puts on your device when you visit it. The devices might hold information about user browsing habits or the equipment where the cookies are installed. Cookies can even be used to recognise the user.

The only non-anonymous cookies used, (i.e. ones that allow the user to be identified), are those that the user voluntarily activates, thereby authorising their installation, when they select “Remember me” on the “Client Area” of the website. These cookies store the user’s identification on their device for fifteen days, in the form of a hash code representing the username and password. This hash code cannot be used to reveal the actual username and password of the user. The sole purpose of this is to facilitate the user’s access to restricted areas, without them having to manually type in the access password each time. To find out about our personal data protection policy, please consult our Privacy Policy. Management of cookies
